Overall Experience: 3.5 stars, but rounded down to 3 because I don't think I can justify 4 stars.
Service: 5 stars
Came here on a Sunday morning around 8:30. There was no wait, and we were seated pretty quickly. The waitress came by often enough that we didn't need to hunt for her, but not often enough for us to feel pestered. Food was served around 5 minutes after we ordered.
Overall Food: 2.5 stars
I ordered the Top O Morn (2), which had half an order of French toast and eggs any style. I opted for scrambled egg whites, and added a side order of fries.
The egg whites were my favorite part of the meal. 5/5 (score not factored into overall food score because eggs are hard to mess up)
The French toast felt oily and rough. The taste was a bit bland, and the maple syrup didn't help it much. 2/5
The fries were crinkle cut, which I don't mind. However, the fries were severely lacking in salt. 3/5
The customers were mostly senior citizens, so I could understand why the food was on the blander side. However, as a girl in her twenties, who isn't watching her sodium intake, the food left much to be desired. -

Chef's is a good, dependable place for some tradition breakfast. Servers are always pleasant and you know you can count on Chef's when you want a plate of bacon and eggs.
Don't expect anything out of the ordinary but when you just want some breakfast and a cup of coffee, stop by!
There is a large parking lot in back and lots of seating. The waiting area outside is covered and plentiful. -

Let's talk about chef's. Come here for an all american fashioned diner and you won't be disappointed.
Their dinner specials will fill you up guaranteed! Comes with a soup or salad, side dish of fries, baked potato or veggies, bread or roll, entree AND dessert. Now as for the food please don't expect the highest quality type of food (don't expect high quality steaks or what not), I like it because it feels home made. Others may digress and dislike it but for what it's worth I would rather come here than Denny's.
Tons of hearty options ranging from Atlantic cod, spaghetti, veal, meatloaf, burgers, etc. to breakfast options such as omelettes, pancakes, etc.
Very friendly staff and service. I believe in family owned businesses and I think this is one.
I never had an issue with this place and I always come here with my mom and stepdad.
Final Score:
4.3 out of 5 - Decent American Food, fun decor with plenty of nostalgic items and photos on the walls, friendly service, affordable prices and nice staff -
